DESCRIPTION:
Antique lorgnette made of tortoise shell was found at an estate sale in this pouch labeled
TIFFANY & CO. PARIS - NEW YORK - LONDON

Measures 5½" across. Gold ring at end is untested. (it is unmarked) The loop at the opposite end of the lorgnette is broken off, and obviously, the glasses are missing. This piece was found in a Florida estate sale in this pouch... I have no idea if it is original to the piece or not. I am offering it exactly as it was found. An interesting find!
CONDITION:
Tortoise shell lorgnette is scuffed and scratched and shows wear. As noted, end loop is busted off, missing eyeglasses. Pouch is soiled with frayed ribbon.
